Lacrosse in Kemptville for 2009 We are currently looking for Midget and Intermediate aged players for the 2009 season. It accomplishes this by combining the skills of hockey, basketball, and many other sports to produce a unique sport of its own. Since 1998, the Kemptville & District Lacrosse Association has been recognized by and is a member of the Ontario Lacrosse Association as the administrative governing body for youth box lacrosse in North Grenville and the surrounding area.It's Canada's "National Summer Sport" for girls and boys age 4-21. Program House
League The lacrosse house league season is kept short to accommodate seasonal vacations and other summer activities. We start in mid-April and end the last week of June. House league begins with instructional play, then progresses into weekly practices and games.
Competitive
Lacrosse Each Competitive team plays in the provincial playoffs, and is categorized into a level, based on their caliber of play, to promote competition. Most professional lacrosse players have many years of Competitive experience at the Junior A or B level. |
